Well, honestly I didn't know how I should call this part of the website. Tips and Tricks? Tutorials? Somehow nothing really
explained what these pages are all about, that's why I chose the nonsense, Geek-like
title /dev/.
Anyway, I'll post things for the bored surfer and myself as a personal reference in order that I don't forget all the things I've lernt,
read, seen or listened to. ;-)
BTW: Unix-like systems like Linux often use the directory /dev (Device) for physical drives and partitions. /dev/null is used to write data to
a nonexisting device. Somehow a black hole for data. ;-)
