Totally Unrelated Post
Well, first I want to let you know that I finally upgraded my weblog to LifeType's latest release (1.1.1, that is). Then there was the Firefox 2 release earlier today (check out the "agenda of the last steps"), and I found that ridiculous mister I sell everything Steve Balmer Video prising Windows 1.0:
BTW: It's dead simple to include YouTube and Google Videos with the new LifeType Editor :)
Can you see the difference?
Which one of those logos is Web 2.0 compliant?

No! It's the one on the right! ;) there are about 3.5 years between them. I wonder if there is another website, which is in "beta" since April 2003 - let me know if you know one! (and yes, I should have updated my site since ages. Oh, well...

How Much Is Your Blog Worth?

My blog is worth $1,129.08.
How much is your blog worth?
While this is of course nothing to take serious, it reminds me of being on the save side having my own blog software and don't have ads displayed anywhere...
Google's view of the Moon
Today it's 36 years since the one small step for man; one giant leap for mankind. Google honored this day with a map to surf the moon on moon.google.com....and Google wouldn't be Google if they wouldn't have put some fun into this service, too! Well, other may claim it's just a stopgap because they didn't get more detailed pictures from NASA. ;-)
Updates on Google Bombs
I try to keep track of recent Google Bombs and updated the list with two new ones. Keep reading on, if you know german, else go and take back the web! ;-)
Well, if you're swiss you should know Mr. Christoph Blocher, who was lately called a "Jämmerlicher Waschlappen" by some bloggers. (Probably not very original considering the already famous miserable failure, but it worked!)
There is a much funnier Bomb: go and delete the internet or in german "lösche das internet"!

Logo R.I.P.
Found an online logo graveyard today ;)From their Website:
'Logo R.I.P.' is a commemoration of logos withdrawn from the ocular landscape. Many are considered icons of their time or international design classics, whilst others cost millions only to be replaced within a year or two. These logos disappeared, yet in contrast to the ceremony and pomp that greeted their arrival, they often suffered an ignoble death. Now deemed defunct, they are consigned to the logo graveyard, no longer allowed to signify.
Google bombing - the hype is not over
I thougt the Google-bombing-hype was already over, but nope, I was wrong. It's obviously still hyping, so I guess I'll take part on it, too! *g* This has already been covered largely: George W. Bush aka miserable failure has been Google bombed. But it probaby started all with his search for weapons of mass destruction. But surprisingly Bush searched the wrong places! (It's always the same: if you're searching for something you're searching too far. *lol*) According to netcraft.com, www.sco.com is a weapon of mass destruction! Well, let's wait and see ;) (More)
